The Kaffee Klatsch began in 1998 when sisters Norwood, Shirley, Beth, and Brenda purchased what was formerly known as Stone Valley Gourmet in Dayton, Virginia. What started as a dessert and coffee shop soon evolved into a warm, welcoming café focused on quality coffee, community, and meaningful connection. Six years later, younger sister Maggie joined the ownership team, making it a true family-run business.
Over the past 25+ years, the sisters raised families while continuing to care for the shop behind the scenes. Today, they are back in the café more hands-on than ever, bringing decades of experience, hospitality, and heart into the daily rhythm of The Kaffee Klatsch.
